I absolutely loved the 20 minute skits they used to play on BBC 2. They had me in tears as a kid, and when I see them as an adult I see how their timing is impeccable.
The supporting cast were excellent aswell. The bloke who played the rich drunken playboy is still the best drunk I've seen on screen.

I mean Stan was sent to the cabin because he was causing so much trouble. Then got his head stuck behind the mast.
let alone . Fresh Fish............ "Hey Ollie, why don't we buy a boat, catch our own fish, and cut out the middle man?"
"Run that by me again Stanley"

Couple of weeks ago I saw one of their films in Spanish. I figured that Stan & Ollie would be dubbed but they actually spoke in Spanish themselves. Ollie had an excellent accent, Stan less so.
Apparently they also remade some of their films in German and French as well.

Agreed, absolutely timeless and the best double act ever. I have a 20 dvd box set, always raises an involuntary grin on my otherwise fairly miserable demeanor. What's not to like? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNdJZHaMqBk
